The VALUE COLLECTION 724-6475 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat and wear resistance suited for tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 5/8-inch diameter cutter features 3 flutes with a right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral in a high-helix configuration. A TiN (titanium nitride) coating adds surface hardness and reduces friction at the cutting edge. The 3/4-inch length of cut and 2-7/8-inch overall length make this a compact, rigid tool for shorter-reach roughing passes on CNC mills and manual knee mills.

This end mill is suited for roughing operations in job shop, toolroom, and production machining environments. The high-helix, 3-flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation during slotting, peripheral milling, and pocketing. Center-cutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole.
