The VALUE COLLECTION 724-6445 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it handles tough ferrous materials and interrupted cuts that wear down standard HSS tooling. The cutter measures 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) in diameter with a 3/8 inch shank, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 2-11/16 inch overall length. Three flutes and a high-helix, right-hand geometry clear chips efficiently while reducing heat buildup. Center-cutting capability allows plunge entry without a pilot hole.

This roughing end mill is suited for manual mills and CNC machining centers used in job shops, maintenance facilities, and production environments. It is appropriate for side milling, slotting, and plunge cutting in steel, stainless steel, and other tough alloys where a standard two- or four-flute end mill would deflect or chatter.
