The VALUE COLLECTION 724-5026 is a single-end roughing finishing end mill designed for aggressive material removal and finish-quality cuts in a single tool. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The 1/4 inch diameter, 4-flute, square-end geometry produces a flat-bottom cut with right-hand flute direction and a 30-degree helix angle. With a 7/8 inch length of cut and 2-11/16 inch overall length, this end mill suits a wide range of light-duty machining operations. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive engagement in compatible toolholders.

This end mill is suited for milling operations in ferrous metals, alloy steels, and similar materials where both roughing passes and finish passes are required without a tool change. The 3/8 inch shank diameter fits standard R8, CAT, BT, and side-lock toolholders commonly found on vertical milling machines and CNC machining centers. It is not centercutting, so plunge milling is not recommended. Typical users include tool and die shops, general machine shops, and maintenance machinists working on repair and fabrication tasks.

Compatibility
