The VALUE COLLECTION 724-4167 is a cobalt roughing finishing end mill designed for material removal and finishing passes in a single tool. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it handles tough ferrous materials where standard HSS tools wear prematurely. The 3/4 inch diameter, 4-flute, square-end geometry delivers aggressive chip clearing on roughs while leaving a clean finish wall. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and efficient chip evacuation. With a 1.625 inch length of cut and 3.75 inch overall length, this end mill suits general-purpose milling on knee mills, CNC machining centers, and manual mills alike. Installed by machinists and toolroom operators in production and job-shop environments.

This end mill is suited for side milling, slotting, and profiling operations on ferrous metals including alloy steels and stainless. The Weldon flat shank with a 5/8 inch shank diameter provides a positive drive connection in side-lock tool holders, reducing tool pull-out risk under heavy cuts. The bright, uncoated finish makes it straightforward to resharpen. It is not a centercutting tool and should not be plunged directly into solid material. Single-end configuration means full tool replacement when the cutting end is worn.
