The VALUE COLLECTION 724-4131 is a cobalt roughing finishing end mill designed for aggressive material removal and semi-finish passes in a single tool. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it handles interrupted cuts and harder workpiece materials that would wear down standard HSS tooling faster. The 9/16 inch diameter cutting head features 4 flutes with a 30-degree helix angle and a square end profile, delivering efficient chip evacuation and a smooth finish on exit passes. The bright, uncoated surface finish is well-suited for general-purpose machining where coating is not required. This is a single-end tool with a Weldon flat shank for positive rotational drive in the spindle.

This end mill is used in vertical and horizontal milling applications across job shops, toolrooms, and production environments. The 1/2 inch Weldon flat shank seats securely in side-lock holders, making it a reliable choice for face milling, slotting, and profiling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional milling setups.
