The VALUE COLLECTION 724-4020 is a cobalt roughing finishing end mill designed for aggressive material removal followed by finish passes in a single tool. Machined from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it handles tough ferrous metals and heat-resistant alloys where standard HSS end mills fall short. The 1/4 inch diameter, 3-flute, square-end geometry with a 30-degree right-hand helix balances chip evacuation with cutting efficiency. The Weldon flat shank provides positive engagement in the tool holder, reducing pullout under heavy cuts. This end mill is used by machinists and toolroom professionals in manual mills and CNC machining centers.

The 724-4020 suits production and job shop environments requiring combined roughing and finishing capability in a compact 1/4 inch diameter tool. Installation Notes
