The VALUE COLLECTION 724-3266 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a TiN coating, it delivers heat resistance and edge retention when cutting ferrous metals, stainless steels, and other tough workpiece materials. The 5-flute geometry increases chip load per tooth and reduces chatter compared to standard 2- or 4-flute designs. With a 1-inch cutting diameter, 3-inch length of cut, and 5.5-inch overall length, this tool suits production shops and job shops running manual or CNC vertical mills.

This roughing end mill is suited for roughing passes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals where stock removal rate is the priority over surface finish. Typical applications include peripheral milling, slotting at reduced depth, and step milling on knee mills, vertical machining centers, and horizontal mills. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral are standard for conventional and climb milling setups. It is not center-cutting, so plunge operations require a pre-drilled pilot or a separate center-cutting tool.
