The VALUE COLLECTION 724-2212 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it measures 0.875 inches in diameter with a 1.875-inch length of cut and a 4.125-inch overall length. The 5-flute, right-hand cutting geometry produces a serrated chip-breaking action that reduces cutting forces and heat buildup during heavy stock removal passes. A 0.75-inch shank diameter provides solid tool holding in standard end mill holders. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on vertical and horizontal milling machines and machining centers.

This roughing end mill is suited for roughing passes on ferrous metals, stainless steels, and other hard alloys where cobalt tooling is specified. Installation Notes
