Manufactured from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers improved heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The 4-flute geometry produces a coarse chip-breaking action that reduces cutting forces and heat buildup during heavy cuts. With a 0.625-inch cutting diameter, a 2.5-inch length of cut, and an overall length of 4.625 inches, this end mill suits roughing passes on steel, stainless, and other ferrous materials in both manual and CNC milling setups. The bright, uncoated finish is standard for cobalt tooling used across general-purpose roughing work.
