The 3/8 inch shank diameter seats securely in standard collets and tool holders. With 3 right-hand flutes and right-hand cutting direction, this end mill is suited for roughing passes where stock removal rate matters more than surface finish. It is not center-cutting and is not designed for plunge entry.
