The VALUE COLLECTION 724-1026 is a single-end roughing end mill designed to remove material quickly in demanding milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a TiN coating, it delivers solid heat and wear resistance across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The cutter measures 0.25 inches in diameter with a 3/8-inch shank and a 7/8-inch length of cut. Three flutes with a right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction produce an aggressive chip load while maintaining a stable cut. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and toolroom professionals using standard vertical or CNC milling equipment.

The 724-1026 is suited for roughing passes in general-purpose shop and production environments. Its center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole, which adds flexibility in setups where ramp or plunge entry is required. The 2-11/16-inch overall length fits standard collets and tool holders for 3/8-inch shank tooling. This end mill is appropriate for use on steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials where a cobalt M42 grade is specified.

Installation Notes
