Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it delivers solid wear resistance and heat tolerance across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The cutter measures 0.625 inches in diameter with a 2.5-inch length of cut and a 4-5/8-inch overall length, giving machinists the reach needed for deeper pocketing and slotting work. Four right-hand flutes with a right-hand cutting direction provide efficient chip evacuation. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers.
