Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it delivers heat resistance and edge retention in demanding cuts. The tool features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 3 inch length of cut, and a 5 inch overall length. Four flutes with a right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it suitable for conventional roughing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on vertical mills and CNC machining centers.

This end mill is intended for roughing applications where stock removal rate takes priority over surface finish.
