Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers increased heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling, making it well-suited for harder ferrous materials and interrupted cuts. The 9 mm (0.3543 inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose machining where coating adhesion is not a requirement. This is a single-end tool sold individually.

This end mill is used in vertical machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines for general metalworking applications. The 4-flute geometry makes it appropriate for finishing passes and semi-finishing in steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials.
