The VALUE COLLECTION 723-6797 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiN coating, it handles tough ferrous metals and heat-resistant alloys where standard HSS tools fall short. The cutter measures 1 inch in diameter with a 4-inch length of cut and an overall length of 6.25 inches. Five flutes deliver high chip load capacity and improved surface finish compared to fewer-flute roughers. This tool is suited for manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills used in job shop and production environments.

This roughing end mill is a right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool intended for conventional and climb milling of ferrous stock, alloy steel, and similar hard materials. The 0.75-inch shank diameter fits standard R8, CAT, BT, and direct-mount toolholders common in vertical machining centers and Bridgeport-style mills. It is not center-cutting, so it is not suitable for direct plunging. Pre-drill or ramp entry is required.
