The VALUE COLLECTION 723-6796 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating, this tool handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials with good wear resistance and heat tolerance. It features a 1-inch cutting diameter, 5 flutes for efficient chip evacuation, and a 3/4-inch shank diameter. With a 3-inch length of cut and a 5-1/4-inch overall length, it suits deep-pocket and slot milling passes where extended reach is not required. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard. This end mill is not center-cutting.

This roughing end mill is suited for use on vertical mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. Its 5-flute geometry and TiN coating make it appropriate for roughing passes in steel, stainless, and similar alloys where tool life and chip load per tooth matter.
