Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it carries a TiN coating that extends cutting life and reduces friction at the tool-workpiece interface. The cutter measures 1 inch in diameter with a 1.5-inch length of cut and a 0.75-inch shank diameter. With 5 flutes configured in a right-hand cutting, right-hand helix arrangement, it is suited for roughing passes where stock removal rate matters more than surface finish. Overall length is 3.75 inches. This is not a center-cutting tool, so plunge milling is not supported.

Installation Notes
