Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiN coating, this tool handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials while maintaining edge hardness under heat. It features a 7/8 inch diameter with 5 flutes and a 1.125 inch length of cut, making it well suited for hogging out stock quickly before a finishing pass. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard. This is a non-centercutting design, so it is not intended for plunge cuts. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the typical end users.

This roughing end mill is used in vertical milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills. Its 7/8 inch shank diameter matches the mill diameter, so it seats directly in standard ER or side-lock toolholders without a reducer.
