Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers increased hardness and heat resistance compared to standard HSS tooling, making it well-suited for cutting harder ferrous materials and alloy steels. The 6-flute geometry provides more cutting edges per pass, improving surface finish and enabling higher feed rates. With a 1-1/16 inch cutting diameter, a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle, this end mill is configured for right-hand cutting and a right-hand spiral flute direction. It ships in an uncoated bright finish.

This end mill is intended for use in vertical machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines.
