The VALUE COLLECTION 723-3920 is a single-end, square-profile cobalt end mill designed for milling operations on ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. Ground from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers better heat resistance and wear life than standard M2 HSS tooling. The cutter measures 1 inch in diameter with a 1-7/8 inch length of cut and a 5/8 inch shank diameter, giving a 4 inch overall length. With 4 spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle and a bright uncoated finish, it is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling where a center-cutting tool is required.

This end mill fits manual mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers in job shop, tool room, and production environments. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole, making it practical for pocketing operations. The regular-length body keeps deflection low on standard-depth cuts. Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in an e-stop or locked-out state per OSHA lockout/tagout requirements. Do not exceed the recommended axial depth of cut for the diameter and material being machined.
