The VALUE COLLECTION 723-1415 is a single-end cobalt ball end mill designed for milling curved surfaces, contoured profiles, and three-dimensional shapes in metal and hard materials. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat resistance and edge retention during demanding cutting operations. The 9/16-inch diameter cutting head and 1-inch length of cut make it well suited for moderate-depth profiling passes. The bright/uncoated finish maintains a sharp, precise edge geometry. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool in vertical milling machines and machining centers where accurate contour work is required.
This ball end mill is used in job shops, toolrooms, and production machining environments handling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alloy steels, and similar materials. The right-hand cutting direction and spiral flute geometry work with standard right-hand spindle machines. Its standard length classification makes it a straightforward drop-in for general-purpose ball-nose milling applications where extended reach is not required.
