The VALUE COLLECTION 723-1119 is a cobalt square end mill designed for material removal in ferrous and high-temperature alloy machining applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat resistance and edge retention beyond standard HSS tooling. The cutter measures 1.25 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and a 0.75-inch shank diameter, giving it a solid footprint for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. Its two-flute geometry promotes chip evacuation in tougher materials where chip packing is a concern. This is a single-end, right-hand cut tool with a right-hand spiral flute and a 30-degree helix angle, supplied in a bright uncoated finish.
This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys in job shop, toolroom, and production environments. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into a workpiece, expanding its usefulness for pocketing operations. It is a fractional-inch series tool appropriate for conventional vertical mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills running compatible toolholding. No extended reach or coolant-through capability is included in this configuration.
Designed for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloy workpieces. The 0.75-inch shank fits standard collet chucks, end mill holders, and milling arbors sized for 3/4-inch tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and power is locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Seat the shank to the minimum recommended engagement depth in the collet or holder to prevent runout and tool pullout under load. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against published cutting data for cobalt end mills in the specific workpiece material before starting the cut.
