The VALUE COLLECTION 723-1103 is a 2-flute cobalt square end mill designed for metal removal in milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it offers improved heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The 1-inch cutting diameter and 1-1/2-inch length of cut make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling at regular reach. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This is a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool with a bright/uncoated finish and a 3/4-inch shank diameter.

This end mill is used in manual and CNC milling applications across job shops, maintenance facilities, and production environments. It is appropriate for cutting steel and stainless steel workpieces where a cobalt-grade tool is specified for better performance than standard HSS.
