The VALUE COLLECTION 722-3059 is a single-end, 4-flute square end mill designed for milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from M2 high speed steel and coated with titanium nitride (TiN), this tool delivers solid wear resistance and edge retention in general-purpose machining applications. The 11/16 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, providing enough reach for common slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling tasks. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on manual mills or CNC equipment install this type of end mill as a standard production or maintenance cutting tool.
This end mill suits horizontal and vertical milling machines, knee mills, and CNC machining centers operating in job shop, maintenance, or light production environments. The 1/2 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and Weldon-style tool holders commonly found in those setups. With a regular-length overall dimension of 3-5/8 inches, it provides stable overhang characteristics for general material removal. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry follow standard industry convention. This tool is not center-cutting, so it is not suited for direct plunge entry.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or production end mill for milling applications requiring a 1/2 inch shank and 11/16 inch cutting diameter in standard ER collet, end mill holder, or Weldon-style tooling systems.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard machine shop practices. The tool holder and spindle should be powered down and locked out before mounting or removing the end mill. Ensure the shank is fully seated and that the holder is torqued to the tooling manufacturer specification. Because this end mill is not center-cutting, initiate cuts from the workpiece edge or use a pre-drilled entry point rather than direct plunge feeding.
