The VALUE COLLECTION 720-9240 is a single-end, square-profile end mill designed for material removal and contouring in milling applications. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it features a 24 mm (0.9449 inch) cutting diameter, a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree right-hand helix. The two-flute geometry supports chip evacuation in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Center-cutting capability allows plunge entry directly into workpiece material. Machinists and toolroom operators working on manual or CNC vertical milling machines will find this a straightforward general-purpose tool.

This end mill is suited for milling operations in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Its 1/2 inch straight shank fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and Weldon-style holders common on knee mills and VMCs. The 3-1/2 inch overall length provides adequate reach for typical workpiece depths without excessive overhang. It is intended for single-end use and is not designed for extended-reach setups or coolant-through applications.
