The VALUE COLLECTION 720-2048 is a double-end, two-flute square end mill ground from M2 high speed steel and designed for material removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloy applications. It measures 7/16 inches (0.4375 inches) in cutting diameter with a 13/16 inches (0.8125 inches) length of cut and a 1/2 inches shank diameter. The bright, uncoated finish is standard for M2 HSS tooling. A 30-degree right-hand helix promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining edge strength. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling operations.

This end mill fits standard milling operations in job shops, maintenance environments, and production settings where HSS tooling is specified. The double-end configuration extends tool life by providing a second usable cutting end. At 3-3/4 inches overall length with a regular length classification, it seats properly in standard milling chucks, collets, and end mill holders across vertical knee mills, CNC machining centers, and manual milling machines. Installation Notes
