The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1519 is a 2-flute, single-end square end mill manufactured from M2 high speed steel. It features a 7/16-inch (0.4375-inch) cutting diameter and a 1-inch length of cut, making it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations. The bright, uncoated finish is optimized for use in aluminum and non-ferrous materials, where a sharp, low-friction edge is preferred over a coated surface. The 38-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation. This tool is installed by machinists and CNC operators working on mills, machining centers, and manual knee mills.

This end mill is primarily intended for cutting aluminum and other non-ferrous materials, including copper, brass, and plastics. The regular-length configuration and 3/8-inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard R8, ER, and side-lock toolholders commonly found in job shop and production machining environments. It is a centercutting design, which allows plunge cutting in addition to lateral milling passes. The single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than flipped when the cutting end wears.

Installation Notes

Do not exceed the recommended speeds and feeds for M2 high speed steel in the target workpiece material. Ensure the spindle and toolholder are free of chips or debris before seating the shank.
