The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1507 is a single-end, 2-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Manufactured from M2 high speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, this tool delivers reliable performance in light to moderate material removal applications. The 5/16 inch cutting diameter and 3/4 inch length of cut make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling work. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard on this tool. It is used primarily by machinists, tool-and-die workers, and CNC/manual mill operators working in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is intended for use on aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. Its 2-flute geometry provides good chip clearance in softer materials where chip evacuation is a priority. The regular-length configuration suits standard reach applications without the added runout risk associated with extended-reach tooling. It fits machines with 3/8 inch collets or tool holders and is appropriate for both manual Bridgeport-style mills and CNC machining centers running appropriate feeds and speeds for non-ferrous stock.
Designed for use in milling machines accepting a 3/8 inch shank diameter collet or end mill holder. Rated for aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials per series designation VCCC-HSS-2-AL.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tooling change procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet or holder. Seat the shank to the recommended insertion depth specified by the tool holder manufacturer — insufficient engagement increases runout and tool pull-out risk. Verify feeds, speeds, and depth of cut are appropriate for the workpiece material and machine rigidity before beginning the cut.
