The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1119 is a single-end square end mill designed for material removal and profile milling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Ground from M2 high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, this tool features a 1.25-inch cutting diameter, a 1.625-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree right-hand spiral helix. The two-flute geometry provides efficient chip evacuation and suits slotting and peripheral milling operations. The 0.75-inch shank diameter fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders common in manual mills and machining centers. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
This end mill is suited for job shops, maintenance machining, and production environments where a reliable general-purpose HSS tool is needed. Typical applications include shoulder milling, slotting, and contouring in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous materials. The regular-length profile keeps deflection low on setups with moderate reach requirements. It is sold individually and is a practical stock item for toolrooms running Bridgeport-style knee mills or light CNC vertical mills.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style replacement or stock end mill for manual mills and CNC vertical machining centers accepting a 0.75-inch shank. Compatible with primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous alloys.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked before inserting or removing the tool from the toolholder. Verify the shank is clean and fully seated to the recommended insertion depth for the holder type before torquing the setscrew or collet nut. Refer to the machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures for speeds and feeds when setting up a new tool diameter.
