The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1107 is a single-end, square-profile end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in machine shops and production environments. Manufactured from M2 high speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, this tool features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry. The 2-flute configuration provides efficient chip evacuation and is well-suited for slotting, peripheral milling, and plunge cuts. Its centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry into workpiece material without pre-drilling. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool in standard milling machines, knee mills, and machining centers using a 1 inch shank diameter.
This end mill is intended for use on a range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The regular-length geometry and fractional-inch sizing make it a straightforward drop-in for shops running inch-based tooling programs. It is well-suited for both manual mill and CNC applications where an uncoated HSS tool is preferred over carbide for cost-sensitive or interrupted-cut situations. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional milling setups.

This tool is installed and changed by machinists or CNC operators; always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the tool holder and torque the drawbar or collet to the machine manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use — a damaged HSS edge can pull or deflect rather than cut cleanly. Follow shop-standard feeds-and-speeds charts for HSS tooling in the workpiece material being machined.
