The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1066 is a single-end square end mill designed for material removal in milling operations across a range of common workpiece materials. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it measures 3/4 inches in diameter with a 1-5/16 inch length of cut and a 3-7/16 inch overall length. The 2-flute geometry and 30-degree right-hand helix deliver efficient chip evacuation, making this end mill well-suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling on manual or CNC milling machines. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in job shops or maintenance environments will find this a straightforward general-purpose cutting tool.
This end mill is intended for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous materials. The 3/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, side-lock holders, and shrink-fit tooling rated for that bore size. The regular length profile keeps the tool rigid during conventional milling cuts at moderate depths. Typical applications include contour milling, pocket roughing, and shoulder milling on knee mills, bed mills, and CNC machining centers.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style replacement or stock cutting tool compatible with standard 3/4 inch bore milling tool holders including ER collet chucks and side-lock end mill holders used in manual and CNC milling applications.
Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the end mill from the holder. Confirm the shank is fully seated and the set screw or collet nut is torqued according to the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and apply cutting fluid appropriate to the workpiece material as required.
