The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1017 is a single-end, square-profile end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in machine shops and maintenance environments. Ground from M2 high speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, it features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree right-hand helix. The 2-flute geometry provides efficient chip evacuation and is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling. Overall length is 2-5/16 inches with a 3/8 inch shank diameter. At 0.06 pounds, this is a lightweight, single-use consumable suited to manual mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers running fractional-inch tooling.
