The VALUE COLLECTION 6Q11010 is a standard 1-piece manual ball valve designed for 3/8 inch NPT pipe connections. The valve body is constructed from carbon steel with a 316 stainless steel grade material option, making it suitable for a range of fluid control applications in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. The lever handle allows for quick quarter-turn shutoff, and the seat and seals are made from reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for chemical resistance and long service life. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of valve as an inline shutoff or isolation point in pressurized fluid systems.
This ball valve is suited for residential and light commercial piping installations where a reliable manual shutoff is needed on a 3/8 inch NPT line. Typical applications include water supply lines, gas-compatible piping where code-approved, hydronic heating circuits, and refrigerant-adjacent plumbing. The NPT threaded end connection allows for straightforward threaded pipe assembly without special tooling. The lever handle provides a clear open and closed visual indicator, which is useful in mechanical rooms and utility spaces where quick identification of valve position is important.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 3/8 inch NPT threaded pipe systems in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes, the International Plumbing Code (IPC), or IFGC requirements where gas service is involved. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant or tape to NPT threads and tighten to hand-tight plus the number of turns specified by the sealant manufacturer. Do not overtighten the threaded connections, as this can crack fittings or damage the valve body.
