The VALUE COLLECTION 6BN1/4*6 is a welded stainless steel pipe nipple sized for 1/4-inch pipe, manufactured to Grade 316/316L and Schedule 40 wall thickness. This short-run threaded fitting is used to connect or extend sections of pipe in fluid and gas distribution systems. The 316/316L dual-certified material grade provides corrosion resistance in demanding environments including exposure to chlorides, acids, and saltwater. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians commonly install this type of nipple in process piping, marine applications, and chemical handling lines where carbon steel would be inadequate.
