The VALUE COLLECTION 615-6351 is a 51-leaf screw pitch gage used to identify and verify thread pitch on inch-series fasteners and threaded components. Each leaf is stamped with its corresponding threads-per-inch value, allowing technicians to fan through the set and find a matching fit quickly. The gage covers a range of 4 to 84 TPI and is built for a 60-degree thread angle, which is the standard profile for Unified National threads. Constructed from steel with a locking mechanism to hold leaves open during use, this tool is suited for shop, field, and inspection work where accurate thread identification is required.
This screw pitch gage is used across mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades wherever threaded fasteners must be identified, matched, or specified. It works on both external threads such as bolts and studs and internal threads such as nuts and tapped holes. Typical applications include identifying replacement fastener specs during equipment repair, verifying thread pitch before tapping or re-threading, and quality checks on fabricated assemblies. The inch measurement type makes it appropriate for standard U.S. fastener stock.
Designed for use with standard inch-series Unified National thread forms on external and internal threaded fasteners and components across a range of 4 to 84 TPI.
No installation is required for this hand tool. Technicians should power down or de-energize any equipment before measuring threads on components in live systems. Select a leaf, align it flush against the thread profile, and compare for a no-gap fit. Keep leaves clean and dry to maintain accurate seating against thread flanks.
