The VALUE COLLECTION 534032PR is a metric flat socket cap screw engineered for applications requiring a flush or countersunk fastener profile. Built to DIN 7991 standards from 12.9 grade alloy steel with a black oxide finish, this screw delivers high tensile strength and moderate corrosion resistance in a compact hex-socket drive format. The 90-degree flat head seats cleanly into countersunk holes, keeping the fastener surface flush with or below the workpiece. At M4x0.7 thread size and 25 millimeters overall length, it is fully threaded from tip to head. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals use this fastener in precision assemblies, fixtures, and mechanical components where protrusion above the surface is not acceptable.
This fastener is suited for metric assemblies in manufacturing, industrial equipment, and mechanical fixture applications. The 12.9 material grade indicates an ultra-high-strength alloy steel, making it appropriate for high-stress clamping and structural connections within confined or flush-mount spaces. The black oxide finish provides mild lubricity and corrosion resistance, though it is not a substitute for a plated or coated fastener in wet or outdoor environments. A 2.50 mm hex socket drive is required for installation.
Designed as a standard DIN 7991 metric flat socket cap screw in M4x0.7 thread size, compatible with any tapped or threaded hole meeting M4x0.7 metric thread specifications and a countersunk seat angle of 90 degrees.
Installation requires a 2.50 mm hex key or hex socket bit; ensure the driver is fully seated before applying torque to avoid stripping the socket. Countersink the mating hole to a 90-degree included angle to achieve proper head seating. De-burr and clean threaded holes before installation to prevent galling on the high-strength 12.9 fastener. Never reuse fasteners that have been torqued to yield, as 12.9 grade hardware can experience fatigue if cycled beyond specification.
