The VALUE COLLECTION 4RSB3/4*1/4 is a threaded pipe reducer fitting designed to transition from a 3/4-inch female NPT (FNPT) connection to a 1/4-inch FNPT connection in plumbing and piping systems. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it offers reliable corrosion resistance in a wide range of fluid handling applications. The fitting is rated to 150 psi and conforms to Schedule 40 pipe standards. At approximately 1.5 inches in length, this compact reducer is a direct, no-modification solution for reducing pipe size within a threaded system. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting during new construction, system modifications, and repair work where line size must be stepped down.
This reducer is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems where a 3/4-inch main line must be reduced to a 1/4-inch branch or instrument connection. Typical applications include water supply lines, compressed air distribution, instrumentation tap-offs, and other fluid service lines operating within the 150 psi pressure rating. The all-female NPT threading on both ends accepts standard threaded male pipe ends, making integration into existing threaded systems straightforward. It is sold individually and is appropriate for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventories.
Designed as an OEM-style threaded reducer for use with standard 3/4-inch and 1/4-inch male NPT threaded pipe ends in Schedule 40 plumbing and piping systems rated to 150 psi.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters working on threaded pipe systems. Shut off and depressurize the supply line completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly and tighten to hand-tight plus the number of turns recommended by the sealant manufacturer — do not over-torque stainless fittings, as galling can occur. All installations should comply with applicable local plumbing codes and ASME B16.3 or equivalent standards where required.
