The VALUE COLLECTION 4HB1*1/2 is a threaded pipe bushing designed to reduce a 1-inch female port down to a 1/2-inch male connection in pressurized piping systems. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it resists corrosion in water, mild chemical, and process fluid applications. The MNPT x FNPT thread configuration allows the bushing to thread directly into a female-threaded fitting or valve body while accepting a male-threaded pipe or fitting on the outlet side. It carries a 150 psi pressure rating and weighs 0.254 pounds. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of bushing wherever a pipe size reduction is needed within a threaded assembly.
