The VALUE COLLECTION 438-168 is a Schedule 40 PVC pipe bushing designed to reduce a 1-1/4-inch pipe connection down to a 1-inch fitting. It features a spigot (slip) inlet and a female iron pipe thread (FIPT) outlet, allowing a smooth-bore male end to seat into a socket while threading onto a standard female-threaded fitting. This bushing is used in low-pressure plumbing, irrigation, and fluid-handling systems. Plumbers and irrigation technicians install this fitting when a threaded female port needs to accept a smaller-diameter smooth pipe section. At 0.34 pounds, it is lightweight and easy to handle in tight spaces.

Installation Notes
