The VALUE COLLECTION 407-1438 is a fully threaded stud machined from brass with a plain uncoated finish. The stud carries a 10-32 unified fine thread along its entire 1.5-inch length, meaning there is no reduced shank or partial thread — the fastening surface runs end to end. Brass construction provides natural corrosion resistance and good conductivity, making this stud suitable for electrical panels, instrumentation enclosures, and light-duty mechanical assemblies. Material grade 3.6 corresponds to a minimum tensile strength of 60,000 psi. Installation is handled by maintenance technicians, electricians, and general tradespeople who need a reliable threaded insert or standoff point in metal or composite substrates.
This fully threaded stud is suited for residential and commercial applications where a 10-32 fine-thread fastener is required and corrosion resistance or electrical conductivity is a priority. Typical uses include mounting terminal blocks, grounding points, panel components, and instrument hardware. The uncoated brass finish works in moderate environments where galvanic compatibility with brass is appropriate. This stud is sold in a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces per order, with each package containing 1 piece.
Designed as a standard 10-32 fully threaded stud for use in any application requiring a 1.5-inch brass fastener with unified fine thread. Confirm thread class and substrate compatibility before installation.
Install using the appropriate driver or nut driver sized for the 10-32 thread form. De-energize any electrical assembly before installing or removing studs in live panels. Avoid over-torquing brass fasteners, as brass has lower shear strength than steel and is susceptible to thread stripping under excessive load. Follow applicable NEC or equipment manufacturer guidelines when using threaded studs in electrical enclosures.
