The VALUE COLLECTION 375-1726 is a right-hand carbide-tipped boring bar designed for internal diameter turning and bore finishing operations on lathes and boring machines. Built with a C6 carbide-tipped insert grade, it handles general-purpose steel, cast iron, and similar materials at moderate to high cutting speeds. The 3/4-inch shank diameter provides solid tool post engagement, while the 6.5-inch overall length gives adequate reach for a variety of workholding setups. Machinists and toolroom operators rely on this style of boring bar for producing accurate bores with consistent surface finish in both production and job-shop environments.
This boring bar is suited for conventional engine lathes, CNC turning centers, and manual boring mills where right-hand cutting direction is required. It handles a minimum bore diameter of 0.8125 inches and a maximum bore depth of 4.5 inches, making it appropriate for medium-depth bore work in steel and cast iron components. Typical applications include shaft bores, housing bores, and through-holes requiring close-tolerance finishing passes. It fits standard 3/4-inch tool holders and is sold individually.
