The VALUE COLLECTION 375-1622 is a right-hand boring bar designed for internal turning and bore finishing operations on lathes and boring machines. It features a C2 carbide-tipped insert grade, suited for general-purpose machining of cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and similar materials at moderate cutting speeds. The shank diameter is 3/4 inches, the overall length is 3-11/16 inches, and the tool accepts a minimum bore diameter of 7/16 inches with a maximum bore depth of 1-11/16 inches. Machinists and toolroom technicians use this bar for close-tolerance bore work where consistent chip control and tool rigidity are required.
This boring bar is appropriate for use in production and job-shop environments where right-hand cutting geometry is specified. It fits standard lathe tool posts and boring head setups that accept a 3/4-inch shank. Typical applications include finishing and semi-finishing of through-bores and blind bores in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces.
