The VALUE COLLECTION -36744-10 is a high collar split lock washer designed for use with No. 10 screws. Made from uncoated steel, it features a split-ring design that bites into mating surfaces under load to resist loosening caused by vibration or thermal cycling. The washer measures 0.194 to 0.202 inches minimum-to-maximum inside diameter and 0.294 inches maximum outside diameter, with a thickness of 0.047 inches. This package contains 250 washers. These are a standard fastener component used by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors wherever a secure, vibration-resistant fastener assembly is required.
High collar split lock washers are used in light-gauge metal, sheet metal, and panel assemblies where the raised collar provides additional bearing surface and load distribution. The No. 10 screw size makes this washer appropriate for electrical enclosures, control panels, HVAC equipment casings, and similar applications. The uncoated steel construction is suitable for dry or protected indoor environments. Sold in a pack of 250, this quantity is practical for shop stock, service vans, or job-site bins.
Designed as a standard high collar split lock washer for use with No. 10 screws in sheet metal, electrical, and light mechanical assemblies.
Install with a matching No. 10 screw and appropriate nut or tapped hole. Place the washer between the fastener head or nut and the work surface with the split gap oriented away from the work surface to allow proper spring action. Tighten until the washer is fully compressed and flush. Do not reuse split lock washers that have been fully compressed and removed, as the spring tension will be reduced.
