The VALUE COLLECTION 35825 is a 1/4-20 pan head Phillips machine screw designed for general-purpose fastening in metal, plastic, and assembled components across a wide range of trade and industrial applications. Measuring 1/2 inch in length under head with a Unified National Coarse (UNC) thread form, this screw is manufactured from steel and finished with a zinc coating for basic corrosion resistance. Grade 2 classification indicates a standard-strength carbon steel fastener suitable for non-critical structural and mechanical assemblies. The Phillips drive allows fast installation with standard power tools.
This screw suits light-duty mechanical assemblies, electrical enclosures, HVAC equipment panels, junction boxes, and general sheet-metal or component fastening where a low-profile pan head is required. The 1/4-20 UNC thread is one of the most common inch-series thread standards, making this screw widely applicable across residential and commercial trade work. It is sold in multiples of 50 units per order, making it practical for service van stock or job-site supply.
Designed as a general-purpose inch-series machine screw compatible with any 1/4-20 UNC tapped hole or threaded insert in standard mechanical, electrical, and HVAC assemblies.
Install with a Phillips screwdriver or power driver fitted with a Phillips bit of appropriate size. Ensure the mating hole is properly tapped to 1/4-20 UNC before driving. De-energize any electrical equipment before fastening hardware to panels or enclosures in accordance with NFPA 70 lockout/tagout procedures. Do not overtighten Grade 2 fasteners in soft base materials, as the thread may strip.
