The VALUE COLLECTION 30976 is a bent anchor bolt used to secure structural and mechanical components to concrete or masonry substrates. Threaded at 1/2-13 inch (UNC) and measuring 6 inches overall length (OAL), this bolt provides a reliable mechanical anchor point in both new construction and retrofit applications. The bent leg embeds into poured concrete or grouted masonry, while the threaded end protrudes for nut and washer fastening. Constructed from Grade 2 steel, it is suited for general-purpose anchoring loads within residential and light commercial settings. Installation is typically performed by general contractors, plumbers, electricians, or HVAC mechanics when securing equipment bases, sill plates, or pipe supports.
This anchor bolt sees common use in equipment pad installations, structural sill plate attachment, and mechanical equipment anchoring. It is appropriate for applications where a standard L-style or J-style embed anchor is specified. Typical install scenarios include setting HVAC condensing unit pads, water heater bases, electrical panel supports, and similar trade equipment that requires a fixed concrete anchor point. Sold in a package quantity of 10 bolts per order.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or new-installation bent anchor bolt for residential and light commercial concrete or masonry anchoring applications where a 1/2-13 threaded embed anchor is specified.
Anchor bolts must be set before concrete is poured or while grout is wet to achieve full embedment and rated hold strength. Power down or de-energize all associated equipment before securing mechanical or electrical components to the installed anchor. Follow applicable building codes, including IBC and local amendments, for minimum embed depth and edge distance requirements. A licensed tradesperson or contractor should verify anchor placement meets engineer or plan specifications before concrete placement.
