The VALUE COLLECTION 235-6015 is a horizontal spin collet indexer designed for use with 5C-series collets in machining and workholding applications. It accepts collets ranging from 1/4 inch minimum to 1 inch maximum collet capacity, making it suitable for a wide range of round, square, and hex stock sizes. The indexer ships with a collet included. Weighing approximately 4.29 pounds, it provides a stable, manually operated indexing solution for lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders where repeatable angular positioning of a 5C collet is required.
This horizontal spin collet indexer is used in machine shops and toolrooms where operators need to index workpieces held in a 5C collet to precise rotational positions. It mounts horizontally, orienting the collet axis parallel to the work table. Typical applications include milling flats, drilling equally spaced holes, and cutting keyways on bar stock or turned parts. It suits both production and toolroom environments where 5C tooling is already in use.
Designed for use with 5C-series collets. Accepts workpiece diameters from 1/4 inch to 1 inch. Compatible with standard 5C collet tooling used on lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
Installation and setup is typically performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. The indexer is secured to the machine table using standard T-slot clamps or a vise; ensure the table and mounting surfaces are clean and free of chips before positioning. Power down and lock out any machine spindle before loading or unloading workpieces in the collet. Follow the machine manufacturer guidelines for table load ratings and clamping torque.
