The VALUE COLLECTION -2301-7/16 is an adjustable clevis pin machined from zinc-plated steel for corrosion resistance in general industrial and mechanical linkage applications. The pin measures 7/16 inch in diameter with a 2-inch overall length (OAL) and a maximum usable length of 1-3/4 inches. A 7/64-inch cross hole accepts a cotter pin or snap ring to secure the connection and allow length adjustment within the usable range. Millwrights, maintenance technicians, and mechanical assemblers install this type of pin in clevis-and-bracket linkages across a wide range of equipment.
This adjustable clevis pin suits light-to-medium duty mechanical linkages found in industrial machinery, actuator assemblies, and control rod connections. The zinc plating provides a basic level of corrosion protection suitable for indoor or sheltered environments. It is sold in packages of 10 and is appropriate wherever a quick-disconnect or adjustable pin connection is required in a clevis-style joint.
Designed as a standard adjustable clevis pin for use in clevis-and-bracket linkage assemblies requiring a 7/16-inch pin diameter and up to 1-3/4 inches of usable length.
Installation is performed by maintenance technicians or millwrights as part of mechanical linkage assembly or repair. De-energize and lock out all equipment before removing or installing clevis pins in powered linkage systems. Always secure the pin with an appropriate cotter pin or snap ring through the cross hole before returning the assembly to service. Verify that the clevis bracket bore and pin diameter are compatible before installation.
