The VALUE COLLECTION -2300-7/16 is a zinc-plated steel adjustable clevis pin designed for use in linkage assemblies, clevis brackets, and mechanical fastening applications requiring a removable, adjustable pin connection. The pin measures 7/16 inches in diameter with an overall length of 2-1/2 inches and a usable length of 2-5/16 inches. A 7/64-inch cross hole accommodates a cotter pin or hitch pin clip to secure the pin in place once positioned. The zinc plating provides basic corrosion resistance in light-duty service environments. This hardware is commonly installed by HVAC technicians, millwrights, and general maintenance mechanics working on damper linkages, actuator arms, and control rods.
Adjustable clevis pins see regular use in HVAC damper and valve actuator linkages, light industrial machinery, and mechanical control assemblies where a pinned pivot point is required. The 7/16-inch diameter and 2-5/16-inch usable length suit a range of standard clevis bracket widths found in residential and light commercial mechanical systems. Because the cross-hole position is fixed, the adjustment is achieved by repositioning the connected clevis or rod end rather than the pin itself. This pin is sold in packages of 10 units.
Designed as a standard adjustable clevis pin for use in mechanical linkage assemblies requiring a 7/16-inch pin diameter and approximately 2-1/2-inch overall length.
Installation of clevis pins should be performed with the connected system de-energized and any actuators or dampers moved to a safe, neutral position. Insert the pin through the aligned clevis and rod-end bores, then secure with an appropriately sized cotter pin or hitch pin clip through the 7/64-inch cross hole. Do not use this pin in applications that exceed its rated material strength or expose it to sustained moisture without additional corrosion protection. Follow applicable mechanical codes and equipment manufacturer guidelines for linkage assembly procedures.
