Emergency collets are supplied with an unfinished pilot bore, allowing the machinist to bore the hole to a precise custom diameter on the machine itself. This unit ships with a 0.118 inch pilot hole and holds a TIR of 0.00315 inches, delivering the concentricity required for precision turning and secondary operations. Installation and boring are performed by machinists and toolroom technicians.

This collet is suited for machine shop environments where a standard finished-bore collet does not match the required workpiece diameter. Installation Notes
