The VALUE COLLECTION -22664-3 is a solid carbide abrasive bur with a cylinder-with-end-cut head geometry, designed for precision material removal in metalworking, deburring, and surface finishing applications. The cutting head measures 3/8 inches in diameter with a 3/4-inch length of cut, and the bur runs on a 1/4-inch shank that fits standard die grinders and rotary tools. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers consistent hardness and wear resistance across a range of base materials. This type of bur is a standard consumable in fabrication, maintenance, and toolroom environments.
Cylinder-with-end-cut burs are used in ferrous and non-ferrous metalworking, weld preparation, port matching, mold work, and general deburring. The flat end cut adds utility for plunge cutting and flat-bottom cavity work that a standard cylinder profile cannot perform. This bur suits applications in automotive, aerospace, and general manufacturing where controlled material removal and repeatable geometry are required. It is typically installed and used by machinists, tool-and-die workers, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working with die grinders or pneumatic rotary tools.
Designed for use with die grinders, pneumatic rotary tools, and flexible shaft machines fitted with a 1/4-inch collet. Conforms to SB-3 industry specification for cylinder-with-end-cut carbide bur geometry.
Installation is performed by inserting the 1/4-inch shank fully into a matching collet and tightening to the tool manufacturer's specified torque. Always power down and disconnect the air supply or electrical source before changing burs. Inspect the shank for runout or damage before each use, and never exceed the RPM rating marked on the die grinder or listed in the tool manufacturer documentation. Wear appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece before operating.
